Revenge of Doh is a direct sequel to the original arcade smash Arkanoid. Along with improved graphic engine, better sound and music, better hardware support and more levels, Revenge of Doh also features a built-in editor and allows you to create your own level sets!If you've played the original Arkanoid you'll like this one. The evil Doh, apparently defeated in the first game (don't know if anyone has actually ever got there), has returned and it is up to your flying of your Arkanoid space craft to once again defeat him.The game is almost identical to its predecessor, where the basic idea is to keep the ball bouncing around the screen until all the blocks are gone. The various power ups that some times fall down the screen are essential in getting anywhere in the game and after a few stages you learn to look out for your favorites. The graphic is improved from the original and it keeps the original game play, which can become addictive.
So if you're a ball and paddle game fan definitely give this one a try.The sequel has better graphics and sound while everything else is the same. Destroy blocks and complete levels. Some more falling letters were added which means more options for you and the paddle. One of my favorite arcade games when I had my Amiga 500. The game is pretty much the same as Arkanoid but with much better graphics and interface. The game is very simple as you just have to shoot a ball up on different blocks.
Play Arkanoid 2 (MSX 2) for free in your browser. Great to have you back! Play Arkanoid - Revenge of DOH (US) (Arcade) for free in your browser. Mega Man 2 - the power fighters (960708 USA Phoenix Edition) Bootleg Start Game.
Every time you hit one it dissapears and once you have removed all blocks you have completed the level. You can get extra things such as 3 balls, laser, glue and much more from he letters that sometimes appear when you hit one of the blocks. The more levels you complete the more complex and faster levels you get to. There are also some robots flying arround which you have to kill or at least avoid as they are trying to stop you from completing the level. All though they can be a bit annoying they do have a somewhat random movement area and are rarely getting all the way down to you before you have hit them. Overall a funny game which you can use mana hours on.Arkanoid is back!
The concept is the same as in the first Arkanoid, bounce the ball against the bricks and make them disappear. You get some nice goodies falling down, that make your vehicle bigger, give it the ability to shoot and some other features.
The levels are more interesting than in the first part, the graphics improved a little. Overall this is the better one, a classic.A well-known game with lots of levels and much fun. You must hit the bricks with the ball, so that they disappear, but you must reflect the ball using the pad, wich you control. When all bricks are gone, you'll move on to the next level, wich is ussually harder and they may look a bit different. Also the speed can be turned up. It's worth playing!

Arkanoid - Revenge of Doh (a.k.a. Arkanoid 2) is an arcade game released by Taito in 1987 as a sequel to Arkanoid. The mysterious enemy known as DOH has returned to seek vengeance on the Vaus space vessel. The player must once again take control of the Vaus (paddle) and overcome many challenges in order to destroy DOH once and for all. Revenge of Doh sees the player battle through 34 rounds, taken from a grand total of 64. Revenge of Doh differs from its predecessor with the introduction of 'Warp Gates'. Upon completion of a level or when the Break ('B') pill is caught, two gates appear at the bottom of the play area, on either side. The player can choose to go through either one of the gates - the choice will affect which version of the next level is provided. The fire-button is only used when the Laser Cannons ('L') or Catch ('C') pill is caught. The game also features two new features for bricks. Notched silver bricks, like normal silver bricks, take several hits to destroy. However, after a short period of time after destruction, they regenerate at full strength. Fortunately, clearing a level does not require that any notched bricks be destroyed. Also, some bricks move from side to side as long as their left and/or right sides are not obstructed by other bricks. The US version features an entirely different layout for Level 1 that feature an entire line of notched bricks, with all colored bricks above it moving from side to side. The game features a mini-boss in the form of a giant brain, which will help you practice for DOH. Home versions of Revenge of DOH also featured a level editor, where players could create their own levels or edit and replace existing levels, with the exception of two levels: the mini-boss and DOH.
